Marc Brodard joins as Chief Client Officer
Bonhôte, a leading private bank specialising in wealth management, with a network of branches from Geneva to Zurich and a heritage spanning more than two centuries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Brodard as its new Chief Client Officer (CCO), effective from 1 October 2024. Marc brings extensive experience in the banking industry to the role.
Marc holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from HEG Lausanne and has completed the Executive Program from Stanford University (California, USA). He has spent most of his career managing high net worth clients, mainly in Switzerland. For the last decade, he has been Head of Private Banking at Schroder & Co Bank AG, in Geneva and Zurich, and a member of its Executive Committee. Prior to that, he was CEO of Hyposwiss Private Bank Genève SA from 2011 to 2014, after 23 years spent at Credit Suisse, where his last position was Head of International French-speaking HNWI Clients in Geneva.
Marc brings to Bonhôte a wealth of experience in domestic client management and a strategic vision honed over the course of an eventful global career. Originally from La Roche (Fribourg) and currently based in Geneva, his role will be to support Bonhôte’s strategy of expansion and innovation while helping to develop a personalised wealth management service based on geographical proximity and close relationships with clients.
“After many years with a British financial group, I’m excited to continue my career with a firmly established Swiss private bank,” he says. “Drawing on its heritage, Bonhôte has developed innovative solutions while protecting its traditional values, as evidenced by its B Corp certification, commitment to sustainability, and the reputation and success it has built in Switzerland.”
“Marc’s appointment underlines our continued commitment to providing our clients with an unparalleled personalised service,” says Yves de Montmollin, CEO. “His many years of experience in the banking sector and his career will reinforce our mission to serve our clients effectively, freeing up valuable time for them to focus on what really matters to them.”
The Bank views Marc’s appointment as a further positive step in its development by strengthening its market positions. Headquartered in Neuchâtel for over 200 years and with branches in Bern, Biel/Bienne, Geneva, Lausanne, Solothurn and Zurich, Bonhôte serves wealth management clients for whom only the best will do.
